S.S Sao Gabriel

S.S. São Gabriel is a luxury river cruise ship operated by Uniworld on Portugal’s Douro River. Built in 2020 and inaugurated on June 27, 2021, the vessel measures 80 m (263 ft) in length with a gross tonnage of approximately 1,200 GT and accommodates 100 passengers in 50 staterooms across four decks. Stateroom types include Classic, Deluxe, French Balcony, Suites, and Grand Suites. Interiors feature Portuguese-inspired marble and tile accents, while public areas include three dining venues, a pool, a spa, a fitness center, and self-service laundry. The ship was christened on June 27, 2021 by Uniworld’s Director of Hotel Operations, Joke De Bruyn. Seven-day cruises operate between Oporto and Vega de Terron, with all-inclusive service and butler service provided by a 37-member Portuguese crew.
